19th June – 4th July
The Landscape Institute London Branch is pleased to announce the launch of ‘London Landscapes’, part of the London Festival of Architecture.
Over the course of the London Festival of Architecture, various landscape practices and designers have volunteered to lead a series of tours and presentations around schemes they have developed and helped come to fruition. They will offer insight into the design influences, constraints and outcomes of some of London’s most exciting landscapes.
All tours and events are free and open to design professionals and the public.
We look forward to seeing you over the coming weeks.

14th – 16th July 2010; Mansion Site of the Avery Hill Campus, Bexley Road,
Eltham, London SE9 2PQ.
The course aims to prepare candidates for the Landscape Institute Chartership assessment and is intended to consolidate and enhance the students' experience of professional life and knowledge of professional procedures gained through their landscape education, practice and private study. In addition there will be some discussion of current issues and trends. It is assumed that students will be familiar with the basic principles involved, particularly those of the English legal system. Guidance will be given for further study in the form of handouts and reading lists. The course is inevitably very intensive.
Registration will take place on Wednesday evening followed by a talk and workshop devoted to the codes and professional ethics. This arrangement gives delegates the opportunity to meet colleagues and old friends in more relaxed circumstances over a buffet supper.
